What is the financial capacity attestation

A financial capacity attestation is the document by which a bank or an insurance company certifies that a business or a professional has the economic solidity required by a specific sector regulation. It is used to enrol in a professional register, to take part in a public tender, to obtain an administrative authorisation or to access financing.

Minimum amounts required by category

Each regulated sector sets the minimum financial capacity threshold that the business must demonstrate. Below are the most frequently requested categories (Italian regulations):

Duration and renewal

The standard duration is annual, with tacit or explicit renewal; in some cases it can be issued with a three-year validity, reducing administrative costs. Renewal should be planned ahead of time: most professional Orders and authorities require a valid attestation to be available at all times.

Documentation and timing

To issue the attestation, we collect the technical documentation (business registry extract, latest financial statement or tax return, bank references where required). Issuance times are generally 24-48 hours for standard attestations; for complex cases or additional documentation they may take up to 3 working days. Delivery via certified email (PEC) with digital signature, ready to be submitted to the professional Order, the Italian Public Administration or the contracting authority.
