the Ministry of the Environment, any costs that it should incur in case of environmental disaster, for the remediation of polluted sites and expenses for recovery, transport, and disposal of the waste itself until receipt by the competent authorities of the certificate of correct disposal.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a guarantee for the cross-border waste transport?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Category 6 of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.albonazionalegestoriambientali.it\/Public\/Home\">Environmental Management Register<\/a> concerns the transport of waste across international borders. To do this in Italy, companies must register in the Environmental Management Register as required by law.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The National Committee has established rules and requirements for registering in this Category 6, which concerns the cross-border transport of waste. They have also provided details on which documents must be submitted when requesting registration, especially regarding the translation into Italian of foreign documents.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To request registration, companies must do so online, using the website of the regional or provincial section concerned if they have branches in Italy or if they choose to establish their legal headquarters in Italy. This rule does not apply to sole proprietorships, which can register later.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You must not be under legal interdiction or incapacity, nor temporarily prohibited from carrying out certain activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You must not have been definitively convicted of serious crimes, such as those related to the environment, health, building, or urban planning. If a certain period of time has passed since the conviction or if you have obtained a suspended sentence, the conviction might not be considered.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You must be up to date with social security and welfare contributions for workers, according to Italian law or the law of your country of residence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>There must not be any reasons for prohibition, forfeiture, or suspension against you, as established by law.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You must not be in liquidation or involved in bankruptcy proceedings or similar situations, according to foreign law.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You must have the technical skills and financial capacity required by law.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You must not provide false information or commit forgeries when providing the requested information.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>These requirements are verified by the regional section through a special certification and the criminal record certificate. In addition, the companies and entities that want to register in the Register must appoint at least one technical manager who meets certain professional requirements established by the National Committee and some of the requirements listed above, otherwise, their request will be rejected.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Financial requirement<\/strong>: To demonstrate that you have the necessary money, you must have at least \u20ac 9,000.00 if you have only one vehicle and \u20ac 5,000.00 more for each additional vehicle. You can demonstrate this with documents showing how much you earn, how much you pay in taxes, what you own, and your financial statements. Or, you can obtain a document from your bank attesting that you are financially reliable. This is what the law says.<\/p>\n<p>Companies that demonstrate the financial requirement to obtain a license for the transport of goods in the European Union according to European rules can do so by showing a copy of the same license.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technical Manager:<\/strong> While we wait to establish the rules on how to assess whether you have the necessary professional skills and what are the conditions to perform the role of technical manager, the person who takes on this role is the head of the company.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What documents must be submitted with the application for registration in the R<a href=\"https:\/\/www.albonazionalegestoriambientali.it\/Public\/Home\">egister of Environmental Managers<\/a>?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To register, you must send some <strong>documents via the internet<\/strong>. Here&#8217;s what you need:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>An application that the system will give you, signed by the head of the company.<\/li>\n<li>A copy of the identity card of the head of the company that is still valid.<\/li>\n<li>A declaration on the safety of transport means, signed by the head of the company as technical manager, following a specific model established by the national committee.<\/li>\n<li>Photocopies of the vehicle registration certificates, both front and back.<\/li>\n<li>If the vehicles are not owned by the company, you need copies of contracts that demonstrate that you use them exclusively (such as leasing, rental without driver, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>A copy of the license to transport goods at the European level or an international authorization for the transport of goods.<\/li>\n<li>Documents that demonstrate that you have the necessary money to register (such as turnover, VAT payment, assets, financial statements, or adequate bank financing).<\/li>\n<li>A declaration by the head of the company attesting that he has no ties to the mafia.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>If you have a company abroad, there are additional documents:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol start=\"9\">\n<li>A certification that will be given to you by the competent authority in your country, attesting to the company&#8217;s data, such as address, legal representatives, and other important information.<\/li>\n<li>Documents that demonstrate that no legal representative of the company has been placed under interdiction or incapacity.<\/li>\n<li>Documents that demonstrate that the company is in compliance with social security and welfare payments according to Italian law or your country&#8217;s law.<\/li>\n<li>Documents similar to a criminal certificate, but issued no more than 6 months ago, for each legal representative.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For some specific requirements, you can follow the instructions in Circular No. 149 of February 2, 2017. Each legal representative must make a declaration.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that all documents must be in the original language, and if they are not in Italian, they must be translated and authenticated by the legal representative.<\/p>\n<p>There are also some expenses to consider:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u20ac90.00 for secretarial fees, which you can pay with a credit card when you submit the application.<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac16.00 of stamp duty, which you will have to pay when you download the registration document via the telematic system.<\/li>\n<li>A fee of \u20ac168.00 to be paid by bank transfer or postal order to a specific account of the Revenue Agency in Pescara.
